At Enniscorthy Dog Training, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights under Irish and EU consumer law, including your right to cancel and return certain items.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

  • The cancellation period expires 14 days after you receive your goods

  • To exercise your right, you must notify us clearly (e.g. by email)

2. Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging

  • You must provide proof of purchase (receipt or order number)

You are responsible for the cost of returning the item unless it is faulty or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit.

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • We will notify you of approval or rejection

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days

Refunds will include:

  • The full cost of the item

  • The standard delivery cost (if applicable)

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method, where possible. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

If a refund to the original payment method is not possible, we will contact you to arrange an alternative method.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Under Irish law, you are entitled to a remedy if goods are:

  • Faulty

  • Not as described

  • Not fit for purpose

If this happens:

  • Contact us as soon as possible with photos (if applicable)

  • We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund

We will cover return shipping costs in these cases.

5. Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are non-refundable unless faulty:

  • Perishable goods (e.g. treats, food products)

  • Opened or used items that cannot be resold for hygiene reasons

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Digital products or downloadable content

  • Services once they have begun (e.g. training sessions already delivered)

6. Partial Refunds

In some cases, partial refunds may be issued:

  • Items returned used or not in original condition

  • Items missing parts not due to our error

7. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are:

  • Defective

  • Damaged
